1. App എന്താണ്?

Introduction

ഈ app ഒരു Steel Fabrication Cost Calculator ആണ് — Doors, Windows, Frames, Pipes എന്നിവയുടെ estimate (cost calculation) ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ ഉള്ളത്. ഓരോ job-നും material cost, labour, painting, cutting, profit എല്ലാം കൂടി automatic ആയി calculate ചെയ്യും.

ഇത് offline ആണ്. Internet ഇല്ലാതെയും use ചെയ്യാം. എല്ലാ data-ഉം phone/computer-ൽ save ആകും (browser localStorage). App uninstall ചെയ്‌താൽ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ browser data clear ചെയ്‌താൽ data പോകും — ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണം.

2. Login ചെയ്യുന്ന വിധം

How to log in
  1. Browser-ൽ incal.shiftdevs.com open ചെയ്യുക.
  2. Password box-ൽ 7998 type ചെയ്യുക.
  3. Enter button click ചെയ്യുക — Home Screen കാണും.
ഒരു device-ൽ ഒരു തവണ login ചെയ്‌താൽ — browser close ചെയ്‌താലും session save ആകും. അടുത്ത തവണ open ചെയ്‌തപ്പോൾ directly Home Screen കാണും, password വീണ്ടും ആവശ്യമില്ല.
Password മറ്റ് ആളുകൾക്ക് കൊടുക്കരുത്. App settings-ൽ password change ചെയ്യാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ option ഇല്ല — admin-നോട് ചോദിക്കുക.

ഇതാണ് App-ന്റെ Main Page

Login ചെയ്‌ത ശേഷം Main Menu കാണും. ഇതിൽ 9 cards ഉണ്ട്:

4. Door Frame Calculator

Door Frame-ന്റെ estimate

ഇത് use ചെയ്യുന്നത് door frame മാത്രം estimate ചെയ്യാൻ — glass, hinges ഇല്ല. Full door-ന് Door Calculator use ചെയ്യുക.

  1. Home-ൽ Door Frame card click ചെയ്യുക.
  2. Unit തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക — mm (millimeter) അല്ലെങ്കിൽ inches.
  3. Width (വീതി) enter ചെയ്യുക.
  4. Height (ഉയരം) enter ചെയ്യുക.
  5. Quantity — എത്ര frames വേണം (default: 1).
  6. Rate per Kg (₹) — Steel rate enter ചെയ്യുക.
  7. Profile തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക — DF 4x2, DF 4x2.5, DF 5x3 etc.
  8. Right side-ൽ Cost Breakdown automatic ആയി update ആകും.
Profile എന്നാൽ? — Door frame-ന്റെ size ആണ് (DF 4x2 = 4 inch × 2 inch section). Profile select ചെയ്‌താൽ kg/foot, labour, painting, cutting — ഇവ automatically apply ആകും.

Addons section (optional):

  • PolyF — Polyfoam strip cost
  • Louvers — Louver cost
  • Designs — Decorative design cost

  • + Add Charge — Custom name-ൽ ഏതെങ്കിലും extra cost add ചെയ്യാം

5. Window Frame Calculator

Window Frame-ന്റെ estimate

Window frame (WF profile) മാത്രം estimate ചെയ്യാൻ. Glass cost ഇതിൽ include അല്ല — full window-ന് Window Calculator use ചെയ്യുക.

Door Frame-ന് similar ആണ്, പക്ഷേ Profile-ൽ WF profiles (WF 3x2, WF 4x2, WF 5x3 etc.) കാണും.

Window Frame calculation-ൽ Border perimeter + Center bar (width direction) — ഇവ രണ്ടും weight calculate ചെയ്യും. Door Frame-ൽ border perimeter മാത്രം.

ബാക്കി steps Door Frame-ന് same ആണ്.

6. Door Calculator

Full Door Estimate — Frame + Glass + Hinges

ഇതിൽ door-ന്റെ complete estimate ഉണ്ടാകും — frame material, glass, hinges, labour, painting, cutting, profit ഉൾപ്പെടെ.

  1. Home → Door card click ചെയ്യുക.
  2. Width, Height, Quantity enter ചെയ്യുക (mm അല്ലെങ്കിൽ inches).
  3. Frame Profile — DF profile തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക (DF 4x2 etc.).
  4. Glass Cost/sq ft (₹) — Glass-ന്റെ rate enter ചെയ്യുക (default ₹85).
  5. Hinge Type — Butt Hinge, Ball Bearing, Concealed, Pivot, Heavy Duty.
  6. Hinge Qty — 0 ആക്കിയാൽ automatic ആയി calculate ചെയ്യും (height-ന് അനുസരിച്ച്).
  7. Addons (PolyF, Louvers etc.) add ചെയ്യാം.
Hinge Qty 0 ആക്കിയാൽ — height-നനുസരിച്ച് auto count ആകും. ഉദാഹരണം: 7 ft door → 3 hinges (hinge spacing: 2.5 ft).

7. Window Calculator

Full Window Estimate

Window-ന്റെ complete estimate — WF frame + glass + optional louvers/designs.

  1. Home → Window click ചെയ്യുക.
  2. Width, Height, Quantity, Rate per Kg enter ചെയ്യുക.
  3. Frame Profile — WF profile തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക.
  4. Glass Cost/sq ft — glass rate (default ₹85).
  5. Panes (Divisions) — 1 = single pane, 2 = double pane, 3 = triple pane. Panes വർദ്ധിക്കുമ്പോൾ glass area divide ആകും, mullion bar add ആകും.
  6. Louver Section — louver section ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ tick ചെയ്യുക (30% of height louver ആകും).
  7. Design Section — decorative design ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ tick + cost enter ചെയ്യുക.
  8. Arch — arch design ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ tick + cost enter ചെയ്യുക.
Glass area calculation: Frame-ന്റെ inner dimension (inset: 2 inch per side) കണക്കാക്കി glass area കണ്ടെത്തും. Multiple panes ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ mullion (1.5 inch) minus ചെയ്‌ത് divide ചെയ്യും.

8. Pipe Calculator

GP Pipe Estimation

GP pipe-ന്റെ cost estimate ചെയ്യാൻ.

  1. Home → Pipe click ചെയ്യുക.
  2. Pipe Type — GP 3/4 × 3/4 18G, GP 1×1, GP 1.5×1.5, Custom etc. തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക.
  3. Weight per Meter (kg) — pipe type select ചെയ്‌താൽ auto fill ആകും, മാറ്റാം.
  4. Length (meters) — ഒരോ pipe-ന്റെ length.
  5. Quantity — എത്ര pipes.
  6. Rate per Kg (₹) — steel rate.
  7. Number of Cuts — cutting cost calculate ചെയ്യാൻ.

9. Cost Calculation — എങ്ങനെ കണക്കുകൂട്ടുന്നു?

How the numbers work

ഒരു estimate-ൽ ഉള്ള ഓരോ cost item:

Material Cost = Weight (kg) × Rate per Kg (₹) Weight = Perimeter (ft) × Profile kg/foot × Quantity Labour = Profile-ൽ നിന്ന് (flat) OR Material-ന്റെ % Painting = Fixed cost OR sq ft × rate Cutting = Per cut (₹) × cuts OR flat from profile Holes = Hole count × Cost per hole Expense = Material Cost × Expense % (default 5%) Subtotal = Material + Labour + Painting + Cutting + Holes + Addons + Expense Profit = Subtotal × Profit % (default 15%) Grand Total = Subtotal + Profit

Door-ൽ glass cost ഇങ്ങനെ:

Glass Area = (Width − 4 in inset) × (Height − 4 in inset) ÷ 144 (sq ft) Glass Cost = Glass Area × Glass Rate × 0.6 (60% glass factor)

10. Quotes — Estimate Save ചെയ്യൽ

Saving and managing estimates

Calculator screen-ൽ estimate ready ആയാൽ "Save Quote" button click ചെയ്‌ത് customer details കൊടുത്ത് save ചെയ്യാം.

  1. Calculator-ൽ dimensions enter ചെയ്‌ത് cost ready ആക്കുക.
  2. Top-ൽ Save Quote button click ചെയ്യുക.
  3. Customer Name, Phone, Address, Project Name, Notes enter ചെയ്യുക.
  4. Confirm Save click ചെയ്യുക — Quote ID (ഉദാ: Q1A2B3) കിട്ടും.

Saved quotes manage ചെയ്യൽ — Header → Quotes:

Print ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ Company name, address, phone, Quote ID, customer details, breakdown — ഇവ ഒരു clean bill format-ൽ print ആകും. Settings-ൽ company info update ചെയ്‌തിരിക്കണം.
Quotes browser-ൽ store ആകും. Browser data clear ചെയ്‌താൽ quotes പോകും. Important quotes print out ചെയ്‌ത് save ചെയ്യുക.

Sales Summary Dashboard

Header → Reports click ചെയ്‌താൽ saved quotes-ന്റെ summary കാണാം.

Module-wise breakdown-ഉം കാണാം (Door, Window, Pipe etc. വേർതിരിഞ്ഞ് count, kg, sales).

12. Management — Pipes, Hinges, Profiles

Master data manage ചെയ്യൽ

ഈ sections-ൽ pipe types, hinge types, frame profiles add/edit/delete ചെയ്യാം. ഇവ ഒരു തവണ set ചെയ്‌താൽ calculator-ൽ automatically കാണും.

🔧 Pipe Management

  • Home → Pipe Management (or Header → Pipes)
  • Add New Pipe Type button click ചെയ്‌ത് Name, Weight/m, Rate/kg enter ചെയ്‌ത് save ചെയ്യുക.
  • Table-ൽ ഓരോ row-ൽ Edit / Delete ഉണ്ട്.
  • Search box-ൽ pipe name search ചെയ്യാം.

🔩 Hinges Management

  • Name, Unit Cost (₹), Spacing (ft) — ഇവ add ചെയ്യാം.
  • Spacing — door height ÷ spacing = hinge count (auto calculation-ന്).
  • ഉദാഹരണം: spacing = 2.5 ft, door height = 7 ft → 3 hinges.

DF (Door Frame) ഉം WF (Window Frame) ഉം — രണ്ടും ഇവിടെ manage ചെയ്യാം. Tab ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്‌ത് switch ചെയ്യുക.

Profile-ൽ set ചെയ്‌ത values calculator-ൽ default ആയി apply ആകും. Settings-ൽ mode "flat" ആണെങ്കിൽ profile-ൽ നിന്ന് value use ചെയ്യും; mode "percentage" / "formula" ആണെങ്കിൽ override ആകും.

Global Configuration

Home → Settings → ഇവിടെ global defaults set ചെയ്‌ത് Save Settings click ചെയ്യുക.

Hinges Enable/disable, mode: auto (height-based count), fixed cost
Holes Enable/disable, cost per hole (₹)
Company Info Company name, address, phone — ഇത് printed quotes-ൽ കാണും
Settings save ചെയ്‌തില്ലെങ്കിൽ changes apply ആകില്ല. Save Settings button click ചെയ്യുക.

14. Tips & Shortcuts

Useful tricks
  • Real-time update: ഏത് field-ഉം type ചെയ്‌തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ cost automatic ആയി update ആകും — save ചെയ്യേണ്ടതില്ല.
  • Duplicate Quote: Similar job ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ existing quote duplicate ചെയ്‌ത് dimensions മാത്രം മാറ്റിയാൽ മതി.
  • Print without saving: Calculator screen-ൽ Print button click ചെയ്‌താൽ current estimate draft ആയി print ചെയ്യാം (quote save ചെയ്‌ത് വേണ്ട).
  • Additional Charges: "Transport", "Welding", "Primer" etc. custom charges add ചെയ്‌ത് grand total-ൽ include ചെയ്യാം.
  • Steel rate change: Rate/kg field calculator-ൽ directly മാറ്റാം — Settings-ലേക്ക് പോകേണ്ടതില്ല (calculator-ൽ ഉള്ള Rate per Kg field session-ൽ മാത്രം apply ആകും).
  • Search in Quotes: Customer name, phone number, project name — ഇതിൽ ഏതും search ചെയ്‌ത് quote കണ്ടെത്താം.
  • Mobile use: App mobile-ൽ ശരിയായി work ചെയ്യും. Portrait mode recommended.
⚠ Data backup: Browser localStorage-ൽ ആണ് data. Browser settings → Clear Data / Clear Cache ചെയ്‌താൽ quotes പോകും. Important estimates print out ചെയ്‌ത് ഒരു copy file ആക്കി save ചെയ്‌ത് വയ്ക്കുക.
